OVERVIEW

Less than an hour south of Palm Beach and anchoring the county’s south end, upscale Boca Raton has much in common with its fabled cousin. Much of the Boca landscape was heavily planned, and many of the bigger sights are clustered in the area around town hall and Lake Boca, a wide stretch of the Intracoastal Waterway between Palmetto Park Road and Camino Real (two main east–west streets at the southern end of town).
